I’ve been listening to Sharon McMahon’s podcast, Here’s Where It Gets Interesting, ever since it first aired. Her recent series on Prohibition is chockfull of history tidbits that I’m sure you’ve never heard of.
My Writing Projects
Here’s a quick update on my writing projects. As I mentioned in my goals for 2023 and my March 2023 Bonus, I’m working on a children’s book about Heather and Harold. I made some decent progress on it during the first quarter of 2023, but with the school year wrapping up here in May (I teach high school science and social studies part-time), I just haven’t had time to devote to this project.
As we head into the summer, much of my writing time is going to be taken up with my class on the book of 1 John.
So, my writing goals for the rest of 2023 are to hopefully finish the first draft of the Heather and Harold book, as well as to finish a draft of a Bible study book on 1 John (drawing from the content of the class I am teaching). We’ll see how things go in the second half of the year.
